Configuring your computer for Wi-Fi:
1. Make sure that you have followed your Wi-Fi card manufacturer's instructions during the installation process. Different manufacturers have different steps in the setup of the wireless networking card.
2. Make sure that your wireless networking card is installed and enabled (turned on).
Windows Users:
Open your Wi-Fi card configuration utility.
In the area that requires a "network name" or "SSID", type or select "everwave".
Macintosh Users:
Open the TCP/IP control panel and set it to "Connect via: Airport" and to "Configure:
Using DHCP Server." Open the Apple Airport control panel and "Turn Airport On."
Select the access point "nnu".
AOL Users:
To use AOL on the everwave wireless network you need to configure the AOL software to connect to the AOL network via "TCP/IP". From the AOL Sign On window, click the Setup button and create a new "Location" for use with a non-AOL ISP.

Configure this new Location to connect to AOL via TCP/IP.
You must sign on to everwave before you can sign on to AOL.
Remember to return the AOL software to its original dial-up Location setting after using everwave
BlueTooth, GSM/GPRS, CDMA/1xRTT, PCS Vision and Ricochet cards are NOT compatible with Wi-Fi hotspots.
